Colson Fellows @ Currey Creek

Much of our Bible study focuses on knowing God and living in right relationship with Him, ourselves, and others—an essential part of spiritual growth. But Scripture also teaches us how to engage rightly with all of God’s creation, including society, culture, economics, education, and politics. As we join Christ in restoring a fallen world, a Christian worldview becomes essential.

We live in a world where the “powers and principalities” actively seek to distort God’s good design in areas like marriage, family, human sexuality, and personhood. As followers of Christ, we cannot genuinely love our neighbors while remaining indifferent to ideas and actions that cause harm. Ideas have consequences—and bad ideas have victims. Because we care about those affected, we are grateful to partner with the Colson Center for Christian Worldview in bringing the Colson Fellows Program to Currey.

The Colson Fellows Program is a transformational course that distills a lifetime of Christian wisdom into nine months.

It provides a strong foundation for those new to Christian worldview studies while offering fresh insight for those experienced in apologetics as they engage today’s rapidly changing culture. Rather than treating worldview as mere arguments or facts, Fellows develop the wisdom and critical thinking needed to discern what is true, good, and beautiful—so they can understand the times and engage others with thoughtfulness and grace.

Beginning in August, Colson Fellows-in-Training follow a carefully curated curriculum that helps them understand and identify worldviews and how they manifest in today's ideas, philosophies, policies, and practices. You will learn how to analyze and understand culture and its influence. Additionally, we will examine current cultural flashpoints, including race relations, progressive sexuality, religious liberty, the role of government, economics, and the sanctity of life. Finally, Colson Fellows-in-Training will examine the concept of "calling" and develop a "Personal Ministry Plan" to help them discover their calling, identify their unique gifts, and identify their sphere of influence.
