As Christians, we are commanded by Jesus in Matt 28:18 to ‘go and make disciples’. This command by Jesus requires that we are in fellowship with other people for the purpose of being transformed to look more like Jesus. This command also requires you to be intentional about inviting other people to be transformed as well.
We want to encourage you to ask 3-4 other men to join you in studying God’s word together for the purpose of discipleship. These men can be part of Currey Creek, they can be in your family, they can be your neighbor, or they can be from your workplace. It does not matter how you know them – what matters is they are being discipled.
Knowledge of God’s word is good, but living out what God reveals to us in his Word is what we are after.
“and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Tim 2:2
