bUDDY TEAM APPRECIATION/SPRING TRAINING
JANUARY 27, AFTER THE 10:30am service

to set up an appointment.
The Buddy Team is a ministry of Upstream Student Ministry that exists to serve and support the Creek Kids Ministry at Currey Creek Church. This team is comprised of any 7th-12th grade student who has applied, met and agreed to all requirements of The Buddy Team, and has been trained to serve the children’s ministry.
All members of The Buddy Team will be serving in a Creek Kid’s classroom on Sunday mornings at one of the two service times. They are required to attend a Currey Creek Worship service at the hour they are not serving.
All 7th-12th grade students who serve in Creek Kids will be trained as a classroom buddy. Their role is to lead through ASSISTANCE AND ATTITUDE. They will assist the lead teacher with activities, teaching, singing, and snack. They will always have a positive attitude and encourage all the children in their class to do the same. Some high school Buddy Team members may be selected to be a One-on-One Buddy in addition to their Classroom Buddy duties. If selected, these students must receive additional training and will be asked for a higher level of commitment.
9th-12th grade students who would like to receive additional training can become a one-on-one buddy. These specialized buddies will be paired with a specific child that could use some one-on-one attention to help them and their teacher have a successful morning. Their role is to lead through ATTENTION AND AFFIRMATION. They will provide specific attention to an assigned child and affirm them as they navigate a Sunday morning Creek Kids experience.
