As a part of the Currey Creek body of believers, we all have a responsibility to serve our church. Please read through the ministry details below and see where your gifts would best be used!

Creek Kids

We have volunteer needs in CREEK KIDS for every age! In nursery, you will have a wonderful opportunity to love on babies and sing to them about God’s creation through Bible time. In preschool, you will engage toddlers in hands on activities, play around the room, and attend a chapel that is all their own! In our elementary area, we are active in praise and worship music, scripture memory, large chapel teaching, and small group discussion. Being a volunteer in CREEK KIDS allows you to have an active role in bringing the gospel to our families and generations to come!

Connections

Welcome Team

If you love people, have a warm smile, and enjoy serving, we’d love for you to join us. Each Welcome Team ministry serves monthly and grows in community together. A few of our teams include the Coffee Team, Communion Team, Greeters, and Ushers.

Creek Care Team

We seek to love well as Christ’s hands and feet, sharing in both your sorrow and joy. We invite the hurting to find hope and care as we meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our church. Our teams include the Hospitality Team, Prayer Team, and Service Team.

Creek Clubhouse

Creek Kid’s Clubhouse is a ministry that coordinates with Creek Adult programming: re|engage, Creek Group Sunday sessions, and AM Women's Bible Studies. While parents participate in these events, our Clubhouse staff cares for the children. Lessons focus on a theme each semester, and we provide in-depth teaching, outdoor play, and fun crafts.

Classes are available in the Spring and Fall on Wednesday mornings and Sunday afternoons.

Creek Adults: Small Group Leader

Have you felt a tug at your heart to start a small group? Have you been involved in small groups and are ready to take the next step into leadership? We would love to set up a meeting with you to discuss our heart for small groups at Currey Creek and how you can start your own group.

Our home groups are structured to give you freedom as a leader to make your small group your own. You can set up the time and dates that work best for your schedule. We have access to multiple bible studies online to use for your group and we write our own sermon-based curriculum that can be used as well.

Creek Students

Whether you desire to serve on Sunday Mornings during our Upstre(am) services or at Wednesday night Middle School or High School Upstream, we are looking for leaders who will commit to walk alongside a group of students, building meaningful relationships in and outside of our small group time and discipling them in their walk with Christ. We are also in need of a team of volunteers to cook for our students every other Wednesday throughout the school year.

Worship

Currey Creek Worship opportunities include:

Students – middle and high schoolers can serve on our student-led worship teams for Wednesday night Upstream, and can also help lead worship for Creek Kids on Sunday mornings.
Adults – volunteers can serve on our adult worship team for Sunday mornings and special events.
Worship Tech – students and adults can serve on our production teams across all venues, from Creek Kids and Upstream to Sunday mornings and more.

Other Opportunities

Student Leaders

Student Leaders are an important part of serving and supporting the Creek Kids Ministry at Currey Creek Church. This team is comprised of any 9th-12th grade student who has applied, met and agreed to all requirements of the Student Leader Team, and have been trained to serve the Children’s Ministry.

All members of the Student Leader Team will be serving in a Creek Kid’s classroom on Sunday mornings at one of the two service times. They are required to attend a Currey Creek Worship service at the hour they are not serving.

Hand In Hand

Creek Kids Hand in Hand seeks volunteers with a heart for working with children with special needs. If you would like to volunteer with this new ministry, please click the link below to fill out an application.

Creek Kids Crew

The Creek Kids Crew Team is excited to be able to teach our children the importance of worship from a very young age. Through hand motions and live worship, we engage our children and reveal to them the importance of worshiping our King. It is a fun environment! If you have a heart to teach children how to worship, we would love for you to be a part of our team. Creek Kids Crew serves on Sunday morning for children’s services.
