What does it mean to be free? Is it freedom from control, having the power of choice, enjoyment of rights, or the liberty to do whatever we please? In his liberating letter to the Galatians, Paul teaches that true freedom is found in Christ alone through the gospel of grace. Paul powerfully proclaims it is for freedom that Christ has set us free!
o Freedom from spinning our wheels in a religion of good works meant to win God’s love or keep His favor.
o Freedom from the captivity of sin and empowered to live by the Spirit.
o Freedom to live, love and serve God and others.
o Freedom from boasting in anything other than the cross – where we are all on level ground and our ethnic, social and gender differences have no bearing on our standing before God.
Get ready to be confronted with profound doctrine while at the same time be challenged by practical life applications in this powerful study. Galatians will plant our feet firmly on the solid ground of grace – both the way to life and the way of life.
*Please note that there will NOT be childcare offered on Wednesday nights.*
