Mission & Vision For the sake of the Gospel

In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells His disciples that they will be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the Ends of the Earth.

Currey Creek Missions follow this pattern of making disciples locally, regionally, and internationally, partnering with organizations in Boerne, the United States, and all over the world. While we have a focus in church planting partners, we work with a variety of ministries to accomplish the vision in Revelation of every tribe, tongue and nation worshipping God (Revelation 7:9-10).

Door to Door Team

Our team is dedicated to sharing the gospel with our neighbors through proactive community engagement. Once a month or every other month, we visit our neighborhoods and communities, engaging in personal interactions to share the message of Christ and disciple individuals toward spiritual maturity.

We offer training and team-building activities to help encourage one another as we learn to share the good news with others. Our teamwork exemplifies Currey Creek's commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission by bringing the gospel directly to our neighbors’ homes.

Team 25:35

Team 25:35 is modeled on Matthew 25:35, which says: "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink, I was a stranger, and you welcomed me..." Did you know we have people right down the road in San Antonio who are from countries that have little to no Gospel access? God has brought the nations to us! We want to reach the unreached among us. We do so by reaching out to kids through a program called Robyn's Nest, which partners with one of our mission partners. The outreach happens on a Saturday every other month. We work with our ministry partner to teach ESL to families, helping them integrate into the culture and build relationships!

 In Luke 15, Jesus tells a parable about a shepherd with 100 sheep. When one of them goes missing, Jesus says that the shepherd will leave the 99 and go after the one. That is what we ask of each member at Currey Creek, that they live their lives with the one in mind. In doing so, you take a step of obedience to the commission given to all believers in Matthew 28, to go and make disciples of all nations.  

 

Invest and Invite. Invest in one unbeliever in your life—meaning you pray for them, intentionally know, and pursue them. Then, invite them into the family of God, through sharing the good news of Christ with them, and inviting them to come to Currey Creek with you. 

Attend one of our Gospel Trainings! This will help you know how to segway into Gospel conversations, give you a simple way of sharing the Gospel, and a couple of ways to follow up after sharing the Gospel.
