Job Title:  Adult Discipleship Minister
Status:  Full-Time (40 hours)
Supervisor Title:  Executive Pastor of Discipleship

Job Summary:
The role of the Adult Discipleship Minister is to create and oversee discipleship opportunities for adults at Currey Creek Church. These opportunities include but are not limited to small group communities, classes, and Bible studies. 

Primary Responsibilities

Small Group Communities:
 - Develop an effective on-boarding process for small group communities (sign-up areas, stories, church-wide promotions, webpage, connect events, etc).
 - Oversee information and tracking of small group participants and leaders. 
 - Develop, implement, and maintain a leadership development strategy that identifies and trains small group leaders.  
 - Work with the preaching team to help develop content for small groups that includes sermon-based material and/or other resources. 
 - Communicate weekly with small group leaders, offering prayer, training, guidance, assistance, and overall support. 
 - Communicate regularly with the Clubhouse Coordinator in regards to small groups who have childcare needs that meet on campus.  
 - Maintain an effective registration process for participants and children through website, creek connection and other venues. 
 - Work closely with the leaders, teachers, and childcare team of these classes and groups that all may feel your leadership and support. 

Classes:
 - Develop an effective on-boarding process for Creek Institute Classes. (sign-up areas, stories, church-wide promotions, webpage, etc)
 - Recruit, train, and empower gifted and effective classroom teachers.  
 - Work with supervisor to develop great class offerings that connect with our adults and encourage/challenge them.  
 - Oversee information and tracking of class participants, children, and teachers. 
 - Maintain an effective registration process for participants and children through website, creek connection and other venues. 

Bible Studies:
 - Provide leadership, resources, and support for the Men’s and Women’s bible study teams.
 - Work with the Men’s and Women’s bible study teams to develop a vision and direction for the curriculum and studies.  
 - Create a strategy for promotion for Men’s and Women’s bible studies.  
 - Oversee information and tracking of Bible study participants, children and teachers. 
 - Help ensure an effective registration process for participants and children through website, creek connection and other venues. 
 - Work closely with the leaders, teachers, and childcare team of these studies that all may feel your leadership and support. 

Other Duties:
 - Create and maintain a promotion calendar, ensuring that key events and details are announced and communicated at the proper times. Ensure that printed materials are ordered and arrive in time for use.
 - Research new ways to engage adults in discipleship opportunities.  
 - Invest in key leaders, teachers, and volunteers of all adult ministries.  
 - Assist in any event planning and organization that is geared toward adult ministries.  
 - Work closely with Family Ministries to resource parents with material, resources, seminars, and conferences.  

Personal Responsibilities:
 - Maintain God ordained priorities in your life by putting Jesus Christ first, your spouse second, your children third and the ministry fourth.
 - Be loyal to the vision and staff of Currey Creek Church and always protect the unity of the church. 
 - Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Currey Creek Church.
